Development Cooperation Forum on International Industrial Parks & Discussion on Silk Road International Culture Week Forum was held at the Tang West Market on 9^thDecember of 2016. The Vice-president of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and other relevant leaders and officials attended the forum. The Vice-president, Prof. Jia Mingde of NWU was also invited to the forum.

During the forum, on behalf of Northwest University, Prof. Jia Mingde singed the agreement on joint international talents cultivation with theSilk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC). According to the agreement, SRCIC will set up a scholarship at Northwest University for supporting international students to study in Chinese, International Economics and Trade and Journalism. The goal of this cooperation is to train international talents for the countries along the silk road.
