The 17^thChina Annual Conference for International Education was held between October 20^thto 23^rdof 2016 in Beijing. The China Annual Conference for International Education was supported by the Ministry of Education, and organized by China Education Association For International Exchange on a yearly basis. During the 17^thAnnual Conference, on half of Northwest University, Dean Ren Huilian of CICE signed up for the second batch of quality attestation for oversea students education in China.

The theme for the 17^thChina Annual Conference for International Education was “Paths to the Cultivation of Talents for Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Partnerships of Schools, Business and Society”. It consists of three sections: International Education Forum, Communications among Chinese and Foreign universities and International Education Expo. More than 50 events were carrying on at the same time.

The international students mobility shows a diversified trend when more and more students are involved in the movement. When higher education institutions try to attract more students to study in their own institutions, they need to guarantee the quality of education they could provide for the students, especially the international students. The Quality Attestation for Oversea Students was initiated by the Ministry of Education, and the China Education Association for International Exchange was authorized by MOE to carry out the comprehensive review and assessment, in order to improve quality management in terms of international students education. The review results will be key references for administrative decisions and management in the future.
