摘要：Vector vibration sensing is playing an increasingly important role in scientific measurement and engineering applications. Due to their outstanding intrinsic merits of electromagnetic immunity, remote operation capability, compact size and high sensitivity, fiber-optic vibration sensors have attracted much attention. In this paper, a two-dimensional vector vibration sensor based on multi-core fiber (MCF) Bragg gratings is proposed. The sensor can obtain the vibration azimuthal angle and the acceleration by monitoring the wavelength shifts of two cores of the MCF. The resonance frequency of the proposed sensor is 18Hz, and the linear sensitivity is 73.8 pm/g at 30 Hz. Moreover, it can be easy to realize multiple point-position cascaded multiplexing owing to the compliant cylindrical structure.
