主要从事化学分离工程,特别是色谱分离技术的基础理论与应用研究。色谱技术普遍见于化学品的分析检测,也可以作为下游平台技术制备、生产高附加值产品如药物、食品活性组分等。
主持国家863计划子课题、陕西省重点研发计划、陕西省工业攻关计划、陕西省教育厅产业化培育项目、陕西省教育厅重点实验室科学研究计划项目、陕西省教育厅专项基金、西北大学校内基金等课题。参与国家级项目多项。
发表学术论文30余篇,其中被SCI、EI收录17篇;授权发明专利15件,授权实用新型专利2件;参编教材一部;获各级政府各类奖励7项。
